(Niagara Falls, ON) December 19 — Rumours of the date of Santa and Mrs. Claus’ wedding range from hundreds of years ago to over a thousand years ago. Now, we have a factual account of their vow renewal.

Sporting a candy can flower bouquet, Mrs. Claus and “Jolly Old St. Nick” himself, Santa, renewed their wedding vows along the historic Niagara River today. With two elves as witnesses (Tara and Jacky), the couple from North Pole decided to renew their vows (given by Minister Deborah Vaughan) at Niagara’s only little log chapel, Elope Niagara.

“It was a dream come true to see the cute couple renew their vows in a cocoa ceremony at our little chapel,” said Kathy White, co-owner of Elope Niagara. “My business partner Kim and I were ecstatic to have them. Seeing a historic couple together for so long and still be so in love is absolutely adorable, and is truly an honour,” she added.

Elope Niagara is nestled along a creek that runs off of the Famous Niagara River in Niagara Falls, Canada. The unique and104 square foot log chapel is designed for intimate, private and elopement style weddings, perfect for 2-10 people. The chapel has been fitted with heating and air conditioning, romantic mood lighting, and a fresh pine aroma year-round.

“When we first arrived, I was brought to tears of joy,” said Mrs. Claus. “Everything was perfect. Our red and white sand ceremony vow renewal with the breathtaking Niagara River in the background was beautiful. It’s also wonderful that I was lucky enough to renew my vows to the most giving, jolly man in the world. Niagara Falls is just as famous as the North Pole,” added Mrs. Claus.
